Seattle Seahawks Pro Bowl middle linebacker Lofa Tatupu was arrested early Saturday for DUI, the second arrest of a Seahawks player in three weeks.

Under NFL standards, that may not seem like a great deal. But Seahawks general manager Tim Ruskell has been adamant about players on his team being of high character.

It is ironic then that only six weeks after the Seahawks gave Tatupu a six-year, $42 million extension that runs through 2015 and Ruskell calling Tatupu the heart and soul of the team, that very player was arrested for DUI. And Tatupu's arrest came only three weeks after defensive tackle Rocky Bernard was arrested for domestic assault.
